Stories of Hope and Healing Podcast Series
by Lindsay Wegener, Executive Director PeakCare QLD
Through their development of the [Stories of Hope and Healing] podcasts, Pracademics ‘brought to life’ the theory and concepts embedded within the ‘Hope and Healing’ framework. In conducting the project, [Chelsea and Hayley] coupled their technical expertise in making use of this medium with their own considerable knowledge and skills in the delivery of contemporary and effective residential care for children and young people who have experienced trauma and their close familiarity with the training and professional development needs of residential care workers. This made them uniquely well-placed to deliver a training and professional development tool that not only met, but exceeded the outcomes being sought by PeakCare.
